CANCELLATION POLICY:

You would certainly miss out on a wonderful holiday if you had to cancel your planned stay here in Grainau. However, if this becomes necessary, please inform us as soon as possible.

Cancellations due to travel restrictions or accommodation bans can, of course, be made free of charge at any time.

• Cancellations made between 29 and 14 days before arrival will be charged 50% of the total booking amount.

• Cancellations made between 13 and 2 days before arrival will be charged 80% of the total booking amount.

• Cancellations made one day before arrival or on the day of arrival will be charged 90% of the total booking amount.

We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.

If you already have a wide range of insurance policies but do not yet have travel cancellation insurance, we will include the relevant information from ERV with your booking confirmation.

A few days before your arrival, we will send you a detailed email with all the check-in information.

You can settle into "your" apartment from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival at the latest. On the day of departure, however, the apartment should be vacated by 10:00 a.m., otherwise you might be surprised – by our housekeeping team.

If you need to use the apartment a little longer, store your luggage, or leave your car parked for a while longer, that is no problem either. Just let us know briefly – we are flexible and happy to help :)

By car

Via Munich, take the A95 motorway towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Via Augsburg and Schongau, take the B17 towards Oberammergau and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In both cases, continue on the B2 via the Farchant bypass (tunnel) towards Garmisch/Grainau/Fernpass. Approximately 4 km after leaving Garmisch-Partenkirchen, take the B23 exit towards Eibsee/Zugspitze. After around 4 km, you will find Ferienwohnungen Zugspitze on the right-hand (northern) side. You have reached your destination.

By train

Travel to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, or continue directly to Grainau. From Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the Bavarian Zugspitze Railway or the white-and-blue Eibsee bus will take you to Grainau. If you would like to take a taxi from the train station to our apartments, we would be happy to arrange the taxi reservation for you.

Arrival by plane

Arrive at Munich Airport in Erding and then continue by MVV public transport to Munich Central Station. From there, continue by train. Alternatively, Innsbruck Airport (Austria) is approximately 65 km away. From here, we also recommend continuing your journey to Grainau by train.
